I am surrounded by Top Gun Pilots. Wow.

The best of the best. Since my husband has been a pilot for over 40 years this opened enjoyable conversation.

What I noticed most is that they are doing what they love and you can see it. These guys were born to be pilots.

Here is a poem for pilots and those who love to fly!

By John Gillespie Magee Jr.

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth

   And danced the skies on laughter slivered wings;

Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth

  Of sun-split clouds, – and done a hundred things

You have not dreamed of – wheeled and soared and swung

   High in the sunlit silence, Hov’ring there,

I’ve chased the shouting wing along, and flung

   My eager craft through footless halls of air…

Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue

  I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace

Where never lark, or even an eagle flew –

  And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod

The high untrepassed sanctity of space,

   Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

 I encourage you to let your spirit soar and do the things you love to do!
